Here is what some of the people who witnessed the event thought:

We brought my father-in-law from Mansfield. What wonderful memories of his childhood in Cambois!

I loved the old photographs; my husband was in some of them and it brought back good memories.

Wow. This festival was fantastic. It was a truly inspired event which was very well organised. It has put Cambois on the map as a cultural hotspot. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing our village come to life to tell the stories of its past. Congratulations to all involved for pulling off such a spectacular achievement for our community.

I thought this was an amazing inclusive celebration of the community and its history. A positive step forward towards the future.

Fantastic and innovative way of telling stories and putting a place on the map. I had no prior knowledge of Cambois and its history before the event. Now I have a great respect for its history. I feel the way it was put on was amazing.

It was great to attend an event in somewhere that is off the beaten track and that celebrated the history and culture of that location.
