The Silent Volunteer
Saturday January 20th 5pm
The Silent Volunteer looks at the work of the community and the engineers leading up to the 21st of October 1966, in Aberfan.
It talks about the consequences and asks about what can be done in regards to the environmental impact and remaining slag heaps in mining areas around the UK.
It questions if everyday people’s voices are heard and if they are encouraged to be silent.
Come and join us for a script-in-hand sharing of the play and chat about the story and its potential in Cambois next Saturday the 20th of January 2024, 5pm.
Please remember to wrap up warm as it’s cold in the building.
The Tute is an old miners welfare hall on the first floor, there are a set of stairs to reach the space.
Please be considerate of neighbours when parking and park by the fields near the church
